Polkadot Hyperbridge April Fools' joke comes true as over 1 Billion fake DOT tokens were minted on Ethereum

The Polkadot Hyperbridge experienced a security breach, allowing an attacker to mint 1 billion unauthorized DOT tokens on Ethereum. Despite the large sum, the hacker's profit was limited to approximately $240,000 due to insufficient liquidity for cashing out the fabricated assets.
