Bitcoin Could Get Zcash-Style Private Transactions Without a Soft Fork, Misha Komarov Says

The founder of a Bitcoin research firm described a private pool for bitcoin that would cost about four times a normal transaction in fees, and said the technique behind it is still experimental.
